From the South -
Take the Expressway (Rt. 93) North towards Boston. Take Exit 20 (Chinatown/Kneeland Street), turning left at the ramp light onto Kneeland Street. Go five blocks. Make a left onto Tremont Street. The Shubert Theatre is on the right.

From the West -

Take the Massachusetts Turnpike East towards Boston. Take the Downtown Exit (bearing right at the end of the highway). Take a left at the light at the end of the off-ramp onto Kneeland Street. Go five blocks. Make a left onto Tremont Street. The Shubert Theatre is on the right.

From the North -

Take the Expressway South (Rt. 93) toward Boston. Take Exit 21 (Chinatown/Kneeland Street). At the light at the end of the off-ramp, bear slightly to the left for one block. Turn right onto Kneeland Street. Go five blocks. Turn left onto Tremont Street. The Shubert Theatre is on the right.

From Storrow Drive -

Exit at Back Bay/Arlington Street. Stay on Arlington Street to the end of the Boston Public Garden. Make a left onto Boylston Street. Go one and one-half blocks. The Shubert Theatre is on the right.



The most convenient MBTA stops to The Wang Theatre and The Shubert Theatre are the Orange Line/New England Medical Center stop and the Green Line/Boylston Street stop. Both are located one block away from the theatres. The Red Line/Park Street stop is two blocks north of the theatres on Tremont Street.



There are several parking lots located near the theatres: The Tremont Street Garage adjacent to The Wang Theatre; the parking lot at the corner of Tremont and Stuart Streets; the 57 Hotel on Stuart Street; CityPlace Garage in Park Square; the Kinney Motor Mart on Stuart Street and the Fitz-Inn Lot on Kneeland Street.



  •  The Shubert Theatere is equipped with a barrier free entrance and drop-off area.
  •  The House Staff is at the service of patrons with disabilities and communication disorders.
  •  The Shubert Theatre offers accessible and companion seating in a variety of prices and locations
     throughout the Theatre. They may be purchased by calling Telecharge at 1-800-872-8997 or The
     Shubert Theatre Box Office in person. Please tell the ticket seller you would like to purchase
     accessible seats.

  •  An accessible bathroom is located just off the Main Lobby.
  •  The Shubert Theatre Box Office has an accessible window.
  •  A pay-TTY phone is located in the Box Office Lobby.
  •  An accessible telephone is located in the Box Office Lobby.
  •  The Shubert Theatre is equipped with an FM assistive listening device. Headsets are available free
     of charge at the Head Usher's desk.

  •  Large type programs are available at the Head Usher's desk.
  •  Accessible drinking fountains are located thoughout the Theatre.
  •  Each season, sign-interpreted performances of selected shows are offered at The Shubert Theatre.
